CAPITALIA
The project carried out by SoftBase for UniCredit Group, formerly Capitalia, consisted in re-engineering the ALM solution in the mainframe environment.
Starting from an Endevor architecture, we carried out its re-engineering, using, among others, the Charisma products (Visual Impact and EPM). A  factory was set up, built on several Development Environments parallel each having their own  testing techniques, which fed a single Release environment.
From the Release environment some distribution processes to the different Exercise poles have been initiated by some types of Extended Shipment distribution.
The number of such centers has increased over time without difficulty, thanks to the reproducibility of the architecture prepared. Customization of the software is also introduced and managed according to the different poles of exercise, starting from the factory environment.
Particular attention was paid to planning methods and control of the projects within the factory.
Endevor CCID was chosen as aggregating unit , used in order to achieve a computation of costs and a possible attribution of the various Group entities to Banca di Roma.
The swap from the old to the new environment Endevor was iteratively repeated for several times, until the final migration.
During the final migration, completed in a weekend, we successfully  migrated over 200,000 Endevor elements.
